Leading Edges paints a mesmerizing scene of Brook Trout swimming in shallow water. The painting is named after the characteristic white leading edges on the fins of Brook Trout. Often these leading edges are the only thing you see when viewing these fish from above. After hours of watching Brook Trout from above, you will find you still see them when you close your eyes, or drift off to sleep. This painting honours those magical moments, where your mind becomes one with the water and the fish. In Becca’s opinion, there is no better way to meditate.
This original painting is created with highly pigmented acrylics and heavy body medium. Several layers were used to create the shadows and wandering light that you see. The painting is protected with a satin sealant. The painting can be hung in any orientation.
